Hey guys. I am so happy to be writing my first blog post. I am stoked to see where my blog will go. I truly hope that you will be inspired by my blog. Before I start, I would like you to know how thankful I am for your support. Without your shares, comments, and participation, my blog will go nowhere so I would like ask you to comment and share my posts if it inspires you. Feel free to check out the rest of my blog... I hope you like it.
Well, without further ado, here we go.
I decided for my first blog post, I would introduce myself and give you a "behind the scenes" of my life. I have gathered up a bunch of questions to answer so you can develop an insight as to who I am.
Q: How old are you?
A: 14 years old.
Q: What is your favorite inspiring book?
A: My Story: Elizabeth Smart.... READ IT! This book is so amazing.
Q: What kind of sauce do you dip a chicken nugget in?
A: ha ha ha. Ranch... or Barbeque.
Q: What is your usual bedtime?
A: I typically go to bed at 8:30 pm (MST), I read my scriptures for 30-45 minutes and then I go to bed.
Q: Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
A: Closed. Geez! there are monsters in there.
Q: How would you describe yourself?
A: Witty, Spunky, Intelligent, Kind.
Q: What is your worst habit?
A: I bite my nails a lot... OOPS!
Q: What kind of milk do you drink?
A: Skim all the way.
Q: What is something that makes you happy?
A: Photography.
Q: What is something you have struggled with?
A: It has always been a struggle of mine to read my scriptures daily. I would always procrastinate and say "I'll read them tomorrow when I wake up," but anyone who knows me would know I never wake up early enough to get ready for school and read my scriptures, so I decided that I would go and read them at 8:30 every night. I can honestly say that I have kept up with my reading for almost two months now. If you are struggling with reading your scriptures daily, set a time to do it, and have a prayer in your heart. Find that desire to read them, and you will.
Q: Do you take the shampoo and conditioner bottles from hotels?
A: I am guilty of this. By the way, they are lifesavers for traveling.
Q: Who inspired you to make your blog?
A: Halee Albrecht {www.haleesthoughts.weebly.com}. I have always loved her blog, so I thought I'd give it a shot. GO CHECK HER OUT! Halee is so lovely. Not to mention, her blog is the cutest thing ever.
Have a question that wasn't answered? Go to the "Ask Macady" page under the "More" tab above. Each month I will make a blog post for answering those questions. Go submit a question. :)
